Summary: The Project Manager role in London involves leading the global Financial Crime Transformation Programme, focusing on the delivery of improvements identified in a strategic review. Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Program Transformation Change Leadership, Workstream Leads, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Uphold project governance in line with the business's methodology.
- Provide insightful reporting on project progress to stakeholders.
- Address business challenges and implement solutions while managing risks and issues.
- Manage project scope, plans, budgets, and ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor expenditures, timescales, and resources, intervening when necessary.
- Contribute to the development of business cases for investment approval.
- Shape and drive workstream governance in alignment with program governance.
- Support the development of program and workstream communications.
- Design and deliver Risk Appetite Statements and Business Wide Risk Assessments.
- Conduct staffing needs assessments and define roles and responsibilities.
- Manage technology and data initiatives related to Financial Crime systems.
Key Skills:
- Excellent project and programme management skills, including planning, scope, and risk management.
- Track record of project delivery and change management in the Insurance or Financial Services industry.
- Experience in global, multi-jurisdictional execution and stakeholder management.
- Risk and compliance delivery experience, understanding the 3 lines of defence.
- Experience with Financial Crime related change initiatives and controls.
- Effective stakeholder management skills.
- Able to prioritize tasks and adapt to change under tight deadlines.

Project Managers are urgently required to join the businessto specifically work on the firm’s global Financial Crime Transformation Programme. In 2024, the program undertook a Strategic Review of Financial Crime Risk Management Framework. The Project Managers will be required to work in partnership with Program Transformation Change Leadership, Workstream Leads, and closely with business, technology, 3rd party and risk & compliance teams globally to deliver a roadmap of improvements identified in the review as well as design, plan and develop business cases for future phases of the program and support program communications as required.

Key aspects of the role Project Manager
Work closely with the Program Transformation Change Leadership, Workstream Leads, regional stakeholders and 3rd parties to ensure successful delivery against program outcomes and plans. Uphold stringent project governance in line with the business's project management methodology. Providing insightful reporting on progress to key stakeholders Address business challenges, ideate and implement solutions. addressing and escalating risks and issues proactively. Manage scope, plans, budgets, and ensure timely delivery within set parameters. Monitor expenditures, timescales, and resources; intervening when deviations arise. Contribute to the development of business cases for investment approval. Shape, structure and drive workstream governance in alignment with program governance. Support the development of programme and workstream communications.
FC Risk Framework: design and delivery of Risk Appetite Statements incl KRIs, KRIs, Business Wide Risk Assessments, obligations register, control inventory. People, Training & Culture: experience in undertaking staffing needs assessments, defining roles and responsibilities, qualifications and experience, performance KPIs/KRIs, role profiles as well as assessing and delivering training needs to support culture change. Technology & Data PM: proficiency in SaaS platforms, Financial Crime systems and data initiatives, vendor support and management, knowledge of AI technologies and their application in business processes as a desirable, but not essential skill.
What you’ll need to succeed As a Project Manager Excellent project and programme management skills incl planning, scope and risk management Track record of project delivery and change management within the Insurance or Financial Services industry. Demonstratable global, multi jurisdictional execution and delivery including managing stakeholders across regions. Risk and compliance delivery experience, including an understanding of the 3 lines of defence. Experience of having worked on Financial Crime related change initiatives and controls e.g. Anti Money Laundering. Anti Bribery & Corruption, Fraud, Facilitation of Tax Evasion, Market Abuse, Sanctions / Trade Restrictions. Effective stakeholder management skills Ability to shape and lead the successful completion of deliverables and solutions, often to tight deadlines, working under pressure. Able to prioritize tasks, adapt to change, and maintain a high level of performance while working under deadlines.
