Summary: The role of Senior Project Manager focuses on leading post-acquisition integration workstreams across multiple M&A transactions. The position requires a delivery-focused individual with extensive experience in change and transformation within complex M&A and technology environments. The successful candidate will manage integration processes, engage with senior leadership, and ensure effective governance and risk management. This is an outside IR35 contract role based in the London area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end integration of newly acquired businesses, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and minimal disruption to operations and clients.
  • Shape and deliver change initiatives across business functions, embedding new structures, systems, and processes.
  • Strong stakeholder experience and partner with senior leadership to ensure aligned expectations, transparent communication, and board ready reporting.
  • Establish and run effective programme governance, PMO reporting, and cadence for decision making across parallel workstreams.
  • Champion high standards of governance, ensuring clear accountability, decision rights, and risk management.
  • Identify risks early, propose mitigation plans, and drive resolution in collaboration with functional leads.

Key Skills:

  • Proven track record as a Business Change or Integration Project Manager, ideally within fintech, financial services, SaaS, or data driven businesses.
  • Hands on M&A integration delivery experience, from due diligence through post deal operational alignment.
  • Demonstrable experience influencing and supporting board level stakeholders and operating confidently at exec level.
  • Strong understanding of how to navigate change across multi entity environments.
  • Skilled in managing ambiguity, conflicting priorities, and fast moving commercial pressures.
  • Exceptional communication, organisational, and critical thinking skills.
  • Formal qualifications in project/change management (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP).
