The successful candidate will act as the key liaison between stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and end users, driving projects through all stages of delivery while maintaining the highest standards of governance, health & safety, and project control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of healthcare construction projects on behalf of the client.
  • Coordinate and oversee contractors, consultants, and wider project stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and programme milestones, providing regular updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Lead client-facing meetings and maintain strong relationships with all parties involved.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant HSE and CDM regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review and manage project documentation, change control processes, and reporting requirements.
  • Support procurement, contract administration, and project governance activities where required.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and resolve any issues impacting delivery.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction sector.
  • Strong background delivering healthcare construction projects, ideally including turnkey developments.
  • Demonstrable experience working in a client-side/project sponsor environment.
  • Excellent understanding of Health & Safety legislation and CDM Regulations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a fast-paced project environment.
  • Commercially aware with strong project controls and reporting experience.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience working on PFI-funded healthcare projects.
  • Experience delivering major hospital, healthcare, or clinical infrastructure developments.
  • Relevant project management qualifications (APM, PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent).

Candidate Profile

You will be a proactive and highly organised Project Manager with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Confident operating in a client-facing capacity, you will have the ability to challenge, influence, and collaborate with delivery teams to ensure project objectives are achieved.

If you have a strong healthcare construction background and are available to start at short notice, we would like to hear from you.
