Summary: The Project Manager will lead the Passenger Assistance Improvement Programme for a leading transport organization, focusing on enhancing customer experience and operational excellence. This role requires a change-driving individual who can manage complex projects and engage with stakeholders at all levels. The position is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days onsite in Leeds, and is initially contracted for 6 months with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the operationalisation of the passenger assist resource model across the business.
- Develop and deliver robust project plans, ensuring timelines, milestones, and objectives are achieved.
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and communications effectively.
- Collaborate closely with regional and operational teams to implement new ways of working.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels, from frontline staff to senior leadership.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering business change and transformation.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, confident and persuasive.
- Background in operational environments, preferably in transport/rail.
- Ability to drive change at scale in complex, multi-stakeholder settings.
