Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Owner’s Representative on-site, ensuring that all construction activities meet project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with external engineering teams, EPC contractors, trades, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
- Oversee site surveys and ensure any field issues are promptly addressed and resolved.
- Manage and supervise various aspects of construction, including coordination between multiple teams and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality control, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring that project goals, milestones, and deadlines are met.
- Monitor and report on project progress, budget, and timelines to senior management and stakeholders.
- Coordinate the implementation and installation of fire protection systems (fire water tanks, etc.) and ensure adherence to project requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise on-site, acting as the point of contact for all project-related concerns.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including reports, timelines, and budgets.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction, specifically within construction.
- Experience working on industrial projects such as Chemical, Petrochemical, Refinery, COMAH, and Industrial Process Plants is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of and experience with fire protection systems, including fire water tanks, is advantageous.
- Experience in site surveys and field assessments is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, project management methodologies, and health & safety regulations.
- A degree or relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
