Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing delivery of highways works from planning through to completion
  • Coordinating engineering, commercial, and operational activities
  • Managing contractual processes, early warnings, and compensation events through CEMAR
  • Monitoring programme, budget, and project performance
  • Leading meetings with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience delivering highways or civil engineering projects
  • Strong engineering background
  • Previous Project Management experience within NEC contract environments
  • Good working knowledge of CEMAR and commercial processes
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Relevant industry qualifications including SMSTS and CSCS preferred

Our client is delivering a major highways project in the West of England and is looking for an experienced Project Manager to support delivery from an engineering point of view with a focus on commercial duties too. This is a long-term freelance role on a high-profile programme with significant regional impact.

Job Role

  • Managing delivery of highways works from planning through to completion
