Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycle management—from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, resource plans, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Manage cross-functional project teams including business analysts, developers, testers, and third-party vendors.
- Track project performance using appropriate tools, techniques, and KPIs to ensure successful delivery.
- Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure alignment of projects with strategic business goals and compliance with internal governance and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and present regular project updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Coordinate change management and communication activities across impacted business units.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of project management experience, ideally within banking or financial services.
- Proven experience delivering projects in core banking, digital transformation, or regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal communication skills.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is highly desirable.
- Understanding of banking operations, products, and technologies.
- Experience working with external vendors or fintech partners.
- Familiarity with industry regulations (e.g., PSD2, Basel, AML/KYC compliance).
