Summary: The Project Manager role involves overseeing HMI projects deployed at the client location, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among various teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate timing requirements to the HMI HF Team and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with delivery and integration departments across JLR to align departmental planning with programme needs.
- Use JIRA and Confluence to plan, track, and communicate project progress and updates.
- Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and changes to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure the team has the necessary resources and information to execute plans effectively.
- Coordinate with HMI teams across AAD, China, and Portland to align with spec releases and share planning insights.
- Track and report on project status, identifying and resolving obstacles to timely delivery.
- Proven experience working within Agile frameworks and methodologies.
- Background in delivering technical products collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Agile planning tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Develop and maintain Agile project plans, sprint schedules, and release roadmaps.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and cross-functional teams to define scope and priorities.
- Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, and capacity forecasting.
- Monitor progress using Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and adjust plans as needed.
- Identify and mitigate risks that could impact delivery timelines.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, velocity, and resource utilization.
