Managing complex engineering, design, and change processes for aircrafts, using configuration management tools.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a world-leading organisation within the aerospace sector, delivering complex aircraft programmes across development, production, and in-service support. Operating in a highly collaborative, international environment, they are currently strengthening their Programme Management capability within the Widebody Systems UK team. As a result, they are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support critical Fuel and Landing Gear activities.

THE PROJECT MANAGER – WIDEBODY SYSTEMS ROLE

As a Project Manager, you will support a portfolio of projects within the Widebody Systems UK Programme, focusing on Fuel and Landing Gear systems. You will be responsible for delivering agreed work packages to time, cost and quality, working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. You will integrate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Customer Services and Chief Engineering teams, ensuring effective coordination, risk management and communication throughout the project lifecycle. The role also includes budget monitoring, reporting, supplier management, and contribution to financial planning activities, ensuring programme objectives and customer expectations are met. This must be achieved while adhering to Programme Management and Configuration Management processes.
