Summary: The role of Project Manager involves overseeing a £20m new build industrial project from inception to completion. The candidate must possess a strong background in managing similar projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and effective communication among stakeholders. This long-term freelance position is with a tier 2 main contractor, with immediate interviews and a quick start anticipated.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial planning and design to final handover.
• Managing budgets, schedules, and resources effectively and efficiently.
• Overseeing a team of contractors and subcontractors, fostering strong working relationships and ensuring clear communication.
• Ensuring strict adherence to all relevant building regulations, health and safety guidelines, and quality control procedures.
• Proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks to ensure the project remains on track.
• Regularly reporting on progress to senior management, providing transparent and accurate updates.
• Working collaboratively with the design team and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager on new-build industrial projects, ideally with a Tier 2 main contractor.
• A strong understanding of construction methodologies, technical specifications, and relevant building regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
