Project Manager

Summary: The role of Freelance Project Manager involves leading and managing external works at Darlington Station, ensuring the timely and safe delivery of projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of external works on-site at Darlington Station.
• Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and safe delivery.
• Coordinate closely with Network Rail, local authorities, and other key stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, timelines, risk assessments, and project reporting.
• Ensure works are delivered to the highest safety and quality standards in compliance with CDM regulations.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience managing external works or civils packages on infrastructure or rail projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction management processes and procedures.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• SMSTS, CSCS (Black or White Card), and First Aid certifications (preferred).
• Rail or station experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to commute to Darlington on a regular basis.
