Summary: We are looking for two Project Managers on 12-month fixed-term contracts to join our Technology Transformation team. The role involves delivering technology solutions, managing project budgets, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders. Candidates should have a strong background in project management and experience with integrated IT solutions. A project management qualification is preferred, along with analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Business Stakeholders to assist in writing the Business Case.
• Develop high-level plans outlining project scope and align with strategic objectives.
• Create detailed Project Plans in Microsoft Project (MSP), identifying critical paths and milestones.
• Lead projects with clarity, setting performance and delivery expectations.
• Ensure all relevant teams and individuals are involved and briefed appropriately.
• Follow the VA Project Management methodology throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring projects stay within tolerance.
• Effectively manage Project RAIDs and work with stakeholders on resolutions.

Key Skills:

• Project Management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, APMP, PMP).
• Experience delivering complex integrated IT solutions, especially with legacy systems and modern technology.
• Understanding of airline industry processes and technologies (advantageous but not essential).
• Technical expertise in delivering technical aspects of projects.
• Strong analytical skills for designing and optimizing technical solutions.
• Experience in managing third-party suppliers and external delivery partners.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Exceptional skills in MSP and financial management of project budgets.
