Summary: The Project Manager role involves leading high-profile projects within the utilities and energy sector, requiring a dynamic individual with strong project management and stakeholder management skills. The position is initially based in Bristol or Somerset with a transition to a remote-first model. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and deliver projects within agreed timelines, budgets, and scope.
- Develop and manage project plans, ensuring effective coordination across teams and stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues impacting project delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
- Ensure projects adhere to compliance standards, industry best practices, and business objectives.
- Monitor project performance, report on progress, and implement changes as necessary to ensure successful delivery.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in project management, with a track record of delivering projects in the utilities/energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or equivalent.
- Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in environments regulated under IR35 compliance.
