Summary: The Project Manager role focuses on leading a critical cyber recovery programme for a top-tier UK financial services client, requiring a strong background in cyber security and infrastructure delivery. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of cyber recovery initiatives within a complex infrastructure environment
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables aligned to regulatory commitments
- Ensure milestones are delivered on time and to a high standard
- Deliver programmes focused on cyber recovery, resilience, and disaster recovery capabilities
- Work closely with cyber security, infrastructure, and resilience teams to ensure effective implementation
- Engage with senior stakeholders across technology, risk, compliance, and business functions
- Provide clear and concise updates to senior leadership and programme governance forums
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across the project lifecycle
- Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, controls, and audit requirements
- Maintain high-quality documentation to support regulatory and audit readiness
- Support the rollout of new recovery processes, technologies, and operating models
- Ensure effective adoption and embedding of changes across teams
Key Skills:
- Proven experience delivering cyber security or cyber recovery projects
- Strong experience within financial services or highly regulated environments
- Background in infrastructure-led programmes (eg resilience, cloud, platform, or security)
- Experience delivering against regulatory or audit-driven requirements
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong understanding of risk, governance, and delivery frameworks
- Ability to operate effectively under tight deadlines and regulatory pressure
