Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing Cloud Project Management (CPM) team.

This role is ideal for a customer-focused project professional with experience delivering cloud and IT transformation projects within a consulting or professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects end-to-end using Agile methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, resource allocations, budgets, and delivery milestones.
  • Manage project scope against Statements of Work (SOWs) and negotiate changes or discrepancies with clients.
  • Drive project schedules and delivery plans whilst maintaining profitability and budget adherence.
  • Produce project status reports, risk registers, sprint reviews, and governance documentation.
  • Identify, manage, and escalate project risks and issues where appropriate.
  • Facilitate backlog management, ticket prioritisation, estimation activities, and sprint planning.
  • Utilise Jira and reporting tools to monitor delivery progress and team performance.
  • Build strong relationships with clients through proactive communication and successful project delivery.
  • Lead challenging client conversations and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
  • Ensure project outcomes align with client business objectives rather than purely contractual deliverables.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and support to delivery teams to promote project success.
  • Contribute to internal project management initiatives and continuous improvement programmes.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years' project management experience within IT, cloud, or technology environments.
  • Minimum 3 years in a client-facing Project Manager role.
  • Experience working within a consulting or professional services organisation.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery frameworks and project governance.
  • Experience managing project budgets, forecasting, and revenue tracking.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable Experience

  • Exposure to cloud transformation, infrastructure modernisation, application development, or data engineering projects.
  • Experience working with AWS cloud technologies.
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification (or willingness to obtain shortly after joining).
  • Strong knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and related Agile delivery tools.
  • Previous experience delivering projects within a customer-facing consultancy environment.
