Summary: The role of Project Manager involves overseeing the delivery of Network and Infrastructure projects for a financial services client on a 6-month contract basis, with a strong likelihood of extension. The successful candidate will manage the full project lifecycle, including design, implementation, and handover to operational teams, while ensuring effective governance and documentation. Strong experience in enterprise-level projects, particularly in Cyber Security and Azure/Cloud environments, is essential. The position requires 1-2 days per week on-site in Cardiff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery of Network and Infrastructure projects from design to operational handover.
- Create and manage project governance and requirement documentation.
- Develop project plans and manage resources for successful project delivery.
- Monitor and manage project and stage progress.
- Manage project budgets, documentation, and full lifecycle project delivery.
Key Skills:
- Demonstrable experience as a Project Manager within Network and Infrastructure.
- Track record of delivering network and infrastructure projects (Windows Server, Windows 10, O365, Telephony, Storage).
- Background in Data Centre migration projects.
- Knowledge of Network Security and Cyber Security projects.
- Experience with Azure/Cloud/SaaS environments.
- Understanding of DevOps, Cloud-based solutions, and Automation.

Contract Project Manager – MS Office - Azure - PPMO – Cardiff – 1-2 days per week in Cardiff
My long-standing financial services client has an has an urgent need for an experienced Technical Project Manager / Infrastructure Project Manager to join a project team on an initial 6 months contract (Long term program, extensions highly likely). The successful Project Manager be responsible for the delivery of Network and Infrastructure projects and manage the full lifecycle of the project from design, implementation and successful handover to operational teams. You will be tasked with creating and managing project governance and requirement documentation, developing the project plan and managing the resources to successfully delivery the project. Solid experience of managing enterprise level Network & Infrastructure projects is essential alongside strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ideally the Infrastructure Project Manager will have delivered a range of network and infrastructure project workstreams including - Cyber Security, Network/Comms, Azure/Cloud/SaaS
£550 a day Inside IR35 – via an accredited umbrella 6 month initial contract – extension highly likely - long term Programme Start Mid August 1-2 day per week onsite in Cardiff
Skills & experience:
- Demonstrable experience as Project Manager withing Network & infrastructure
- A track record of delivering network and infrastructure projects (Windows Server, Windows 10, O365, Telephony, Storage etc)
- A background of Data Centre migration projects
- Ideally have good knowledge of Network Security and Cyber security projects.
- Previous experience of Azure / Cloud / SaaS environments
- Defining deliverables, resource requirements and project plans
- Monitoring and managing project and stage progress
- Management of project budgets, documentation and full lifecycle project delivery.
