Summary: The Project Manager will oversee specific projects within the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, leading and managing them autonomously while collaborating with colleagues and partners. The role involves formulating, implementing, and monitoring project progress, as well as training staff and developing governance arrangements. This is a fixed-term position for 5 months, requiring permission from the current line manager to apply. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage specific projects as delegated across the organisation.
- Lead, deliver, and manage projects autonomously within delegated parameters.
- Formulate, implement, and monitor progress of projects.
- Supervise project staff and provide training at all levels.
- Plan and organise complex activities in support of service redesign.
- Develop and monitor detailed project plans with teams and partners.
- Develop governance arrangements for the project.
- Identify risks and develop contingency plans as necessary.
- Prepare Highlight and End Stage Assessment Reports for the Project Board.
- Monitor and manage risks and issues through logs and contingency plans.
