Our Local Government Client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team on an interim contractual basis.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background within Local Authorities/Local Government positions, strong stakeholder management experience and an ability to address and deliver key strategic solutions.
This project is about getting a grip and delivering strategic solutions to address a highly sensitive escalating situation around Vehicle Dwellers in the City of Bristol. Experience of delivering high profile, politically sensitive, complex projects ideally within the Housing/Homelessness/Vehicle Dwellers/Gypsy Travellers would therefore be ideal Experience of working in Local Government or comparable settings and navigating decision-making processes effectively would also be beneficial. Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines. To be very flexible and to be responsive to changes in priorities and political decisions ... at short notice. Stakeholder management - particularly to be able to work with diverse communities with challenging and often conflict priorities.
Hybrid possibly, however this is a very hands-on role with the person needing to be very flexible and willing to be present in person for a lot of the time.
