Summary: The role of Project Manager involves leading the delivery of customer-facing digital engineering programmes for a global IT consultancy. The successful candidate will manage complex technology initiatives and coordinate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced Agile environment. This position requires significant experience in digital engineering and technology programmes, with a focus on stakeholder management and project governance. The contract is for 6 months and is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex digital engineering and technology transformation projects.
  • Manage multiple concurrent workstreams, ensuring delivery against agreed scope, budget, quality and timelines.
  • Work closely with Solution Architects, Technical Leads, Software Engineers and Operations teams throughout the project life cycle.
  • Coordinate technical dependencies across engineering, infrastructure and business teams.
  • Drive project governance, RAID management, reporting and executive stakeholder communications.
  • Facilitate planning sessions, sprint reviews and programme governance meetings.
  • Ensure customer deliverables are successfully transitioned into business-as-usual operations.
  • Identify delivery risks and implement mitigation plans.
  • Support continuous improvement across delivery processes and engineering practices.
  • Build strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Skills:

  • Significant experience delivering large-scale digital engineering or technology programmes.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum and hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Experience working with Software Engineering, Cloud, Infrastructure and Solution Architecture teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leadership.
  • Experience managing distributed onshore and offshore delivery teams.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets and forecasting.

Project Manager - Leeds/Bradford (2 days per week) - Circa £480 per day inside ir35 - 6 months

My client is a global leading IT consultancy. They are on the hunt for a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of customer-facing digital engineering programmes, working closely with engineering teams, Solution Architects, Product Owners, Operations and business stakeholders.

This role requires a technically minded project leader who can manage complex technology initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure successful delivery in a fast-paced Agile environment.

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD delivery models.

This temporary contract is inside IR35 and will require working under the direction of the client delivery manager as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will follow established delivery processes and working practices.
