Summary: The Project Manager role at a leading investment bank in Belfast involves a blend of business analysis and project management responsibilities, focusing on addressing controls deficiencies across asset classes. The position requires a strong delivery focus and experience in front office operations, particularly in capital markets and risk management. The successful candidate will lead critical business changes and collaborate with various stakeholders to implement strategic solutions. This is an initial 7-month contract with a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Business and Market Risk teams to implement strategic solutions for the firm.
  • Represent markets transformation across various workstreams, ensuring timely delivery of initiatives, milestones, issue tracking, and remediation.
  • Fulfill external commitments to regulators.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, securing buy-in for business process and infrastructure changes.

Key Skills:

  • A strong understanding of regulated change programs and rapid regulatory responses.
  • Knowledge of Front Office market structure and trade flow across various markets and trading products.
  • Experience working with controls and legal teams, with familiarity in regulatory terminology and its practical implications.
  • Familiarity with structured project management techniques in a front office environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in trade processing (front-to-back), risk and control, markets, operations, and support functions (e.g., Finance, Risk) within a large bank/dealer.
  • Knowledge of global markets trading products (Fixed Income, Equities, Currencies, and Commodities) and/or securities services (Prime Brokerage, Collateral, Clearing, Custody, Fund Services).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • College/university degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant industry knowledge and proven delivery track record are essential.

Salary (Rate): 600
