Summary: The role of Project Manager involves overseeing a diverse portfolio of programmes and projects for a large public sector client within their Innovation & Entrepreneurship Team. This full-time position is a 6-month assignment based in Newry, requiring a minimum of three days of office attendance per week. The successful candidate will ensure effective project delivery, continuous improvement, and adherence to policies while managing budgets and presenting to senior leadership. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project portfolio, monitor effectiveness, and implement improvements.
- Ensure smooth operations and achieve SMART objectives with delivery agents and suppliers.
- Evaluate proposals and applications for suitability.
- Prepare, monitor, and control budgets accurately.
- Prepare materials and present them to the Board and Senior Leadership Team.
- Stay informed on regional trade, innovation, and entrepreneurship issues.
- Ensure adherence to employment and equality policies.
Key Skills:
