Project Manager GIS

Summary: The role of Project Manager (GIS) involves leading a GIS project within the utilities sector, focusing on planning, execution, and delivery. The contract is for six months and is hybrid in nature, based in North England. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with GIS applications and project management in the utilities sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the GIS Project.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress and adjust as needed to ensure successful completion.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.

Key Skills:

• Extensive experience with ESRI GIS applications.
• Strong understanding of GIS principles and technologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in project management within the utilities sector.
