Summary: The role of Project Manager (GIS) involves leading a GIS project within the utilities sector, focusing on planning, execution, and delivery. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the GIS Project.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and adjust as needed to ensure successful completion.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience with ESRI GIS applications.
- Strong understanding of GIS principles and technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in project management within the utilities sector.
