Summary: The Project Manager role is essential for the Centre of Excellence in Water-Based Early-Warning Systems for Health Protection, focusing on developing and evaluating strategies to improve medication disposal practices. The position involves collaboration with pharmacies, GP practices, and various stakeholders to ensure effective intervention delivery and data management. The successful candidate will be responsible for relationship building, data collection oversight, and project impact monitoring. This is a fixed-term position until November 2029.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and evaluation of intervention strategies for medication disposal.
- Establish relationships with pharmacies and GP practices in the Somer Valley.
- Identify and negotiate access to relevant data.
- Inform and coordinate the delivery of interventions.
- Oversee relevant data collection and monitor project impact.
- Engage and communicate with key partners, including local councils and third sector organizations.
- Manage health-related research projects and report writing.
- Coordinate and manage meetings and monitor project progress.
