Job Title: Project Manager

Rate: £421 per day INSIDE

Location: Glasgow - Hybrid

Contract: 6 Months

Clearance: BPSS

Role Responsibilities

The Project Manager takes full responsibility for the definition, approach, facilitation and satisfactory completion of medium-scale projects or workstream within a programme.

Provides effective leadership to the project team, adopting corporate project management methods and tools. Manages change control processes and assesses risks, ensuring projects align with governance frameworks and business priorities.

Communicates regularly with stakeholders, ensuring project deliverables meet agreed standards, budgets and timelines. Ensures project and product quality reviews occur on schedule and according to procedure.

Proactively monitors performance metrics, implementing preventive and corrective actions as needed.

The delivery is mainly performed by a key supplier and the role includes significant supplier management activities.

Day-to-day responsibilities include

  • Ensure consistent application of Atos/Account Project Management standards and practices, and approved project scope is delivered according to time, cost and quality
  • Working with other PMs of workstreams and their interdependencies
  • Resolving issues, and further upward escalation as appropriate
  • Management and Co-ordination of resources, including capacity management planning, to ensure effective levels of resourcing are planned and in place.
  • Management of key client/Atos stakeholders, ensuring relationships with these stakeholders is effective and appropriate
  • Managing RAID items, including identification, management and escalation to Programme level
  • Management of all project changes through formal change process
  • Management of team financial forecasting to inform the monthly finance rally process
  • Management of the WBS code
  • Ensure an effective level of reporting is always in place and up to date
  • Represent the project at customer project board meetings
