Summary: The role of Project Manager involves overseeing critical projects within the Finance Team of a well-established General Insurance company. The position requires a seasoned professional with experience in governance and project turnaround, specifically in finance or corporate banking. The role is based in York with required travel to Norwich, and it is structured as a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the build of a PAS system for Annuities and corporate bank accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the PAS system build for Annuities and corporate bank accounts.
  • Ensure governance and strong road mapping throughout project execution.
  • Deliver across multiple projects effectively.
  • Cleanse and rebuild projects that are already in progress.
  • Identify and recover gaps within projects.
  • Turn around projects quickly to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Team to align project goals with business objectives.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager.
  • Strong governance and road mapping skills.
  • Ability to deliver across various projects.
  • Experience in managing ongoing projects and implementing quick solutions.
  • Background in finance or corporate banking projects.
  • Experience in the Financial Services or Insurance sectors.
  • Previous banking and payments experience, particularly in building corporate bank accounts.
