Summary: Project Manager required for a global Investment Bank/Asset Management firm in London to lead the development of a new Prime Services offering within Equity Swaps. The role involves end-to-end project management, including scope, capacity, resource management, and risk management. This is a multi-year, heavily funded program with significant longevity. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management and equity finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end project management for assigned workstreams.
- Manage scope, capacity planning, resource management, delivery timelines, and risks/issues/dependencies.
- Collaborate across different teams, locations, and disciplines.
- Summarise key concepts in writing and present to various audiences.
- Manage complex and multi-workstream programs with multiple stakeholders.
- Influence senior stakeholders effectively.
- Report and present project status and updates.
- Work under pressure with high attention to detail.
- Utilise project management techniques and methods (e.g., Agile, SCRUM).
Key Skills:
- 10+ years in project/program management driving enterprise-level initiatives.
- 7-10+ years in equity finance/prime brokerage, synthetics, or equity derivatives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong summarisation skills.
- Proven experience managing complex programs.
- Excellent influencing skills at senior levels.
- Strong reporting and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Thorough understanding of project management techniques.

Project Manage (Prime Services - Prime Brokerage - Equity Swaps) required by a global Investment Bank/Asset Management firm, based in London (Flexible working from home model) to work within the 'Prime Services' area to support and run the build out of a new Prime Services offering within Equity Swaps.

You will own end-to-end project management for assigned workstreams, including scope management, capacity planning, resource management, delivery timelines and risks/issues/dependencies management
Skills/Knowledge Required:
The ideal candidate would have experience as a Project Manager plus the following :
- Experience (10+ years) in project/program management driving enterprise level, high impact and cross-functional initiatives
- Experience (7-10+ years) in equity finance/prime brokerage, synthetics or equity derivatives as a senior Project Manager would be desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills being able to manage across different teams, locations and disciplines
- Detail oriented, with the ability to distil and summarise key concepts in writing and present these to a variety of audiences
- Proven experience of managing complex and multi-workstream programs with collaboration across multiple stakeholders to achieve a common goal
- Excellent influencing skills required, including at a senior level across stakeholder groups
- Strong reporting and presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and high attention to detail
- Thorough understanding and experience with project management techniques and methods (eg Agile, SCRUM)
