Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver civil engineering packages up to £50m in scope.
  • Support the pre-construction phase of the project.
  • Ensure progress toward the Final Investment Decision (FID).
  • Manage packages worth £10M–£20M+.
  • Report to the Senior Project Manager.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the construction sector.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager on large infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record of managing large packages.
  • Client-side experience is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with pre-commencement processes including consents, permits, and HSE sign-offs.
  • Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (preferred, not essential).
  • Chartered status (CEng or Project Management) or working towards it.

Location: Site-Based (Suffolk) – 3 to 4 Days Onsite Required

Rate: £470 PAYE –£510/day Umbrella (Depending on Experience)

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a major enabling and earthworks programme at Sizewell C. You’ll be responsible for delivering civil engineering packages (up to £50m in scope), supporting the pre-construction phase, and ensuring progress toward the Final Investment Decision (FID). This is a critical on-site role reporting to the Senior Project Manager.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the construction sector (ideally civils, enabling works, or marine structures)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager on large infrastructure projects
  • Proven track record of managing packages worth £10M–£20M+
  • Client-side experience is a strong advantage
  • Familiarity with pre-commencement processes including consents, permits, and HSE sign-offs
  • Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (preferred, not essential)
