Summary: The Project Manager role focuses on leading the establishment of a new function within a reinsurance business, overseeing the full project lifecycle to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the setup of the function, ensuring successful execution of all project phases.
- Define project scope, objectives, and key deliverables. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans to guide team members and stakeholders.
- Secure and allocate necessary resources, managing internal teams and third-party vendors effectively.
- Ensure projects adhere to defined plans, tracking progress using appropriate project management tools and methodologies.
- Identify potential project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment with business objectives. Maintain clear communication with senior stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, issues, and any necessary changes.
- Develop and oversee project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and cost control.
- Ensure all deliverables meet established quality standards and align with stakeholder expectations.
