Summary: The Project Manager - Digital Transformation role is focused on leading a digital transformation programme for a professional standards organisation in the built environment and property sector. The position involves managing end-to-end project delivery, ensuring successful outcomes for stakeholders while applying both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. The role requires strong relationship management with internal teams and external suppliers to achieve quality results. This is a contract position based in Birmingham with a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver transformation projects in line with established Change Management frameworks and governance controls.
  • Define and manage project scope, objectives, resources, timelines, and budgets.
  • Maintain effective risk, issue, and change control processes.
  • Provide regular project updates and performance reports to stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Apply both Agile and Waterfall methodologies to drive delivery excellence.
  • Monitor progress and identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience managing transformation projects across IT, Business, Data, Infrastructure, or Cloud.
  • Experience with Microsoft AX/CRM or D365 CE/FinOps is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery methods.
  • Proficient in Azure DevOps, SharePoint, and MS Office tools.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement across diverse business areas.
  • Capable of coordinating cross-functional teams without direct line management.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and analytical skills.

TechNET IT has partnered with a leading professional standards organisation within the built environment and property sector, embarking on a key digital transformation programme. We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of digital and IT system improvements across the business, ensuring successful outcomes for stakeholders and users alike.

The Role

This role plays a pivotal part in transforming digital services and modernising IT systems across a complex organisation. You'll manage end-to-end project delivery, from defining scope and resources to ensuring timely, cost-effective execution, while maintaining strong relationships with business sponsors and third parties.
