Overview
We are looking for an experienced Business Process Reengineering (BPR) Project Manager/Delivery Lead to join a major business transformation programme within a leading banking organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the end-to-end delivery plan for the Business Process Reengineering workstream.
- Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, RAID logs and delivery reporting.
- Configure, manage and administer Jira, including boards, epics, workflows, sprint planning and backlog management.
- Coordinate delivery across BPR analysts, transformation teams and technical solution partners.
- Ensure alignment between business process redesign activities and technology implementation workstreams.
- Track progress against key milestones and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies and change requests.
- Produce clear and concise status updates for programme leadership, sponsors and steering committees.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and governance forums to support programme objectives.
- Manage third-party suppliers, vendors and consulting partners where required.
- Support budget management, resource planning and delivery governance activities.
- Drive accountability across teams to ensure successful delivery within agreed timelines.
Essential Experience
- Proven track record delivering Business Process Reengineering (BPR), operational transformation or business change programmes.
- Significant experience leading projects within Banking or Financial Services environments.
- Strong hands-on experience using Jira for project, programme and agile delivery management.
- Experience managing project plans, RAID logs, governance and stakeholder communications.
- Demonstrable experience coordinating business and technology teams within complex transformation programmes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence senior leadership.
- Experience managing multiple workstreams, priorities and dependencies simultaneously.
- Ability to operate effectively within ambiguous or evolving programme environments.
- Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills.
Desirable Experience
- Experience delivering transformation involving automation, AI, low-code or no-code platforms.
- Exposure to Agile, Scrum, Kanban or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Knowledge of process improvement frameworks, Lean or Six Sigma principles.
- Experience working alongside Business Analysts, Process Consultants and Solution Architects.
- Familiarity with banking operations, customer servicing, lending, payments, risk or regulatory functions.
