Summary: The role of Cyber Security Project Manager focuses on delivering transformational change within the Cyber Security Programme. The position requires managing a variety of projects from inception to delivery, while providing guidance and support to Business Analysts. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions and ensure effective stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a range of projects delivering business and technical change within the Cyber Security Programme.
- Oversee projects end-to-end: from discovery and requirements gathering through to implementation.
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and coaching to Business Analysts within the programme.
- Work proactively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams, providing estimates, planning input, timely progress updates, and managing project risks/issues.
- Identify opportunities, solve problems, and implement innovative solutions.
- Lead and facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and stimulate productive discussions.
Key Skills:
- Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale projects across multiple methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Experience delivering business requirements and readiness activities including: Requirements gathering & stakeholder management, Use cases & business impact assessments, Process mapping (“As-Is” and “To-Be”), Communication & training plans, Support and operating model creation (including RACI).
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to challenge, influence, and manage expectations.
- Proficiency with Business Analysis tools such as Jira, Miro, and Visio.
- Strong data analysis skills with MS Excel and Power BI for business decision-making.
- First-class interpersonal and influencing abilities, with a can-do attitude and excellent organisational skills.
- Experience or exposure to Cyber Security risks, tools, and processes.
- Demonstrated success in implementing Cyber Security metrics and reporting.
- Desirable: Previous experience in a Cyber Security Programme, Recognised Project Management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile), Educational background in a technical or IT discipline, Knowledge of SDLC, NIST CSF, and key regulatory frameworks.
