Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the groundworks and civils based construction of a 14 km water pipeline.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders and ensure compliance with the AMP process.
  • Ensure project delivery within budget and timeline, focusing on a scheme valued at £40 million+.
  • Coordinate temporary works and maintain site safety standards.
  • Utilize clean water experience and relevant certifications to guide project execution.

Key Skills:

  • Clean water experience, ideally with Blue EUSR card and EUSR SHEA Water.
  • Civils biased with groundwork experience.
  • Experience managing projects with values of at least £25 million.
  • Prince2 certification preferred.
  • Black card CSCS/NVQ Level 7 Diploma in Construction Senior Management.
  • SMSTS certification.
  • Temporary Works Coordinator ticket.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Salary (Rate): £495 Daily

12 month contract

Our client is building a 14 km water pipeline from Warwickshire to the West Midlands to enhance water supply resilience, crossing through agricultural land (arable and grassland), hedgerows, and watercourses. The scheme is part of the water authority's plan to increase network capacity, providing increased resilience for customers against dry weather.

We urgently need a strong, competent Project Manager to oversee the groundworks and civils based construction of the work.

You will be:

  1. Clean water experience, ideally Blue EUSR card and EUSR SHEA Water
  2. Civils biased
  3. Groundwork experienced
  4. Project values of at least £25 million. (The scheme is £40 million+)
  5. Ideally Prince2
  6. Black card CSCS/NVQ Level 7 Diploma In Construction Senior Management
  7. SMSTS
  8. Temporary Works Coordinator ticket
  9. Knows the AMP process and can work with multiple stakeholders
  10. Site based, on site 2 or 3 times per week
  11. Full UK driving licence
