Summary: The Project Manager for Cladding & Façades will oversee a 52-week external refurbishment project in Lancashire, focusing on cladding replacement and façade works. Key Responsibilities:
- Full project lifecycle management from pre-start through to completion and handover
- Production, management, and regular updating of the master programme
- Coordination and management of site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to specification
- Chairing site meetings and providing structured progress reports to Director and Senior Management
- Commercial awareness in conjunction with the commercial team, including change management
- Risk management and mitigation planning
- Maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships throughout the project
Key Skills:
- Demonstrable experience delivering cladding, façade, or external envelope projects of similar scale
- Proven experience managing projects within live occupied environments
- Strong programming capability (MS Project, Asta, or similar)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid qualifications
- Stable employment history with a main contractor or specialist façade contractor preferred

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a 52-week cladding and façades contract in Lancashire. This is a significant external envelope scheme requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage works within a live environment. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director and Senior Management Team and will take full responsibility for programme, delivery, and overall project performance.
The project comprises a comprehensive external refurbishment package including full cladding replacement/installation works, re-roofing works, balcony installations and upgrades, and associated façade and external envelope elements. The works will be delivered in a live occupied environment, requiring careful planning, coordination, stakeholder management, and strict adherence to health and safety standards. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring minimal disruption to residents/occupants while maintaining programme and quality objectives.
