Summary: The Project Manager (Financial Services) role involves managing change projects to align with the organization's strategic objectives, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery while adhering to regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of change projects ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
  • Development and management of project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Communication with stakeholders to keep them informed about project progress and meet their expectations.
  • Management of project teams, ensuring proper resourcing and necessary skills for project objectives.
  • Management of project budgets to ensure delivery within agreed financial limits.
  • Creation of progress reports to track project timelines and budgets.
  • Management of project risks, including identification, assessment, and mitigation.
  • Facilitation of change management activities, including training and communication.
  • Advising and influencing decision-making and contributing to policy development.
  • Collaboration with other functions/business divisions for operational effectiveness.
  • Leading a team in complex tasks impacting the entire business function.
  • Consulting on complex issues and providing advice to People Leaders.
  • Identifying risk mitigation strategies and developing new policies/procedures.
  • Engaging in complex data analysis from multiple sources to solve problems.
  • Communicating complex information effectively to stakeholders.
  • Influencing stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience managing projects with multiple component teams.
  • Experience managing deliveries from internal teams and multiple suppliers.
  • Extensive experience managing stakeholders across multiple geographies.
  • Extensive financial management experience.
  • Project delivery experience within the Financial Services sector.
  • Extensive experience delivering change across multiple business units including Technology, Operations, Sales, and Legal.

Salary (Rate): £485
