Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver Legal & Governance Change initiatives.
- Develop and implement a unified Legal Matter Management Framework.
- Maintain delivery plans & RAID logs, gather requirements, and map processes.
- Coordinate delivery across Legal, Governance & Technology.
- Translate Legal requirements into functional specifications.
- Ensure appropriate project governance is followed and collate supporting documents.
- Engage with senior Legal stakeholders and change management community.
Key Skills:
- Demonstrable experience in Project Management and Business Analysis.
- Experience delivering change initiatives within a legal context, preferably in financial services.
- Solid understanding of Legal lifecycles and operating models.
- Experience supporting process design and governance frameworks.
- Consulting or advisory experience, preferably with Big 4 or equivalent.
- Good relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent communication and consultative approach.

Project Manager / Business Analyst (Legal consultancy) needed for an initial 6-month engagement with our Consultancy client in London. The role will involve 3-days per week onsite in London and requires a strong Project Manager / Business Analyst with demonstrable experience in Legal Matter Management. The role combines structured delivery management with hands-on business analysis, partnering closely with senior Legal stakeholders and change to deliver pragmatic, well-evidenced outcomes.
The successful candidate will be working within Legal & Governance Change initiatives and will develop and implement a unified Legal Matter Management Framework.
The role is Inside IR35 and is Hybrid with 3 days per week onsite in London. Candidates must engage via an FCSA accredited Umbrella Company.
Key Skills:
- Demonstrable experience in both Project Management and Business Analysis roles and activities, including maintaining delivery plans & RAID logs, requirements gathering, process mapping, coordinating delivery across Legal, Governance & Technology and translating Legal requirements into functional specifications.
- Experience delivering change initiatives within a legal context, preferably within financial services or other regulated environments.
- Experience working within or alongside Legal functions, with a solid understanding of Legal lifecycles and operating models.
- Experience supporting process design and governance frameworks including documentation suitable for audit or regulatory review.
- Experience working in a consulting or advisory capacity (Big 4 or equivalent desirable).
- Ability to ensure appropriate project governance is followed and collate supporting documents.
- Good relationship management skills - able to engage with and gain confidence of others and maximise their contribution to the process. Able to develop effective relationships across the business and the wider change management community.
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills and a Consultative approach.
