Summary: The role of Business Analyst / Project Manager involves leading the end-to-end delivery of a strategic underwriting platform initiative within a confidential organization in the insurance sector. The position requires managing the full project lifecycle, engaging with senior stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing project plans, capturing business requirements, and conducting vendor evaluations. This is an interim 6-month contract classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, including planning, governance, and delivery
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones
- Lead stakeholder engagement and ensure alignment across business and technical teams
- Capture, document, and manage functional and non-functional business requirements
- Facilitate workshops and interviews to understand business needs
- Design and document underwriting process flows and optimisation opportunities
- Lead the development and execution of RFPs for underwriting platforms
- Conduct vendor evaluations and present recommendations to senior leadership
- Monitor project risks, issues, and progress, providing clear reporting throughout
