Summary: The Project Manager role in Halifax requires an experienced professional with a background in banking or financial services to lead complex projects across multiple stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project delivery across regulatory, technology, operational or change programmes within the banking environment.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are clearly defined and met.
- Manage project plans, resources, budgets and risks across concurrent workstreams.
- Champion effective change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new processes or systems.
- Act as the key point of contact between business units, technology teams, and senior stakeholders.
- Ensure strong governance and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and mitigate delivery risks while ensuring alignment with regulatory or compliance requirements.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the banking or financial services industry (essential).
- Strong track record managing stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex change initiatives, business transformation or regulatory programmes.
- Excellent communication, coordination and influencing skills.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
- Relevant qualifications such as Prince2, PMP, or Agile certifications (desirable).
- Experience in areas such as regulatory change, risk and compliance, trading platforms, digital transformation, or operations (desirable).
