Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage risk and issue logs, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
  • Chair key programme and project meetings, driving decisions and action tracking.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Programme Director, providing insight and challenge where necessary.
  • Ensure programme documentation and governance frameworks are consistently applied and adhered to.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Senior PMO Consultant or PMO Lead on large-scale, complex programmes.
  • Strong expertise in reporting, risk management, and meeting facilitation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to operate at senior levels with confidence.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to deliver at pace.
  • PRINCE2, MSP, or equivalent programme management qualifications desirable.

We are working with the Senior Programme Director of a consulting firm, they are leading high-profile, complex programmes, and is seeking a seasoned Senior PMO Consultant to join their team on a contract based. This is a critical role for a highly experienced professional who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.

The Role: You will be the backbone of programme delivery, providing expert PMO support across multiple workstreams. Your focus will be on strong reporting, risk management, issue resolution, and meeting facilitation.
