Summary: The role of Project Management Officer at FDM involves supporting the project management office within the finance sector on a hybrid basis in Sheffield. The position requires a motivated individual to coordinate project activities, track progress, and ensure effective execution of projects. This is an initial 6-month contract with potential for extension, focusing on collaboration with stakeholders and maintaining project documentation. Candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years of PMO experience and strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support programme directors in presenting project funding requests to the Exec Board for approval.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and documentation.
  • Coordinate closely with project managers and programme managers for RAID management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business in a highly visible role.
  • Monitor and track project progress, including milestones, risks, and issues.
  • Maintain and update project management tools and systems.
  • Support the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Support the collection and reporting of project performance metrics.

Key Skills:

  • A minimum of 3 years PMO experience.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meticulous activity management.
  • Good understanding and use of MS Office (Excel) and other automation tools.
  • Banking experience is ideal but not essential.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Salary (Rate): £40,000.00
