Summary: The role of Project Management Officer at FDM involves supporting the project management office within the finance sector, focusing on coordinating project activities and ensuring effective execution. This position is a hybrid role based in Sheffield, initially contracted for six months with potential for extension. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a minimum of three years of PMO experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support programme directors in presenting project funding requests to the Exec Board.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and documentation.
- Coordinate closely with project managers and programme managers for RAID management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business.
- Monitor and track project progress, including milestones, risks, and issues.
- Maintain and update project management tools and systems.
- Support the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management.
- Support the collection and reporting of project performance metrics.
Key Skills:
- A minimum of 3 years PMO experience.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Good understanding and use of MS Office (Excel) and other automation tools.
- Banking experience is ideal but not essential.
- Strong organizational skills.
