Summary: The Project Management Officer (PMO) role in London involves providing essential support to the delivery team of a leading fintech company. The PMO will be responsible for program reporting, governance, and stakeholder updates while ensuring effective communication across multiple workstreams. This position requires a confident individual with solid PMO experience who can introduce governance structures quickly. The role is hybrid, with a day rate of £600-£700 and is outside IR35 for a 3-month contract starting May 8th.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own programme reporting, RAG status, dashboards, and stakeholder updates across two teams
  • Provide dedicated PMO support to the PM without getting pulled into delivery detail
  • Introduce lightweight, effective governance cadences quickly and confidently
  • Track risks, actions, and dependencies, keeping everything visible and current
  • Transfer your ways of working to the team as you go

Key Skills:

  • Solid PMO experience, you've done this before and hit the ground running
  • Confident across multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Strong communicator who can distil complexity into clear senior-level reporting
  • Background in tech, fintech, or fast-paced platform environments is a plus

Project Management Officer (PMO) London – hybrid 3 days

The Company

Our client is a leading London market fintech, operating the digital infrastructure that powers electronic trading and placement for the UK's insurance and reinsurance industry.

The Role

The delivery team is moving fast and needs someone to bring structure and visibility to the programme. You'll sit directly alongside the current PM, owning reporting across two teams and keeping governance on track so they can focus on delivery.
