Summary: This role is for a Project Management Officer (PMO) within the Integration Management Office (IMO) of a Lloyd’s/London Market insurance business, focusing on governance and high-quality reporting during a strategic integration. The position requires hands-on involvement with senior stakeholders to ensure structured delivery across multiple workstreams. The ideal candidate will bring clarity and pace to the integration process from day one. Direct experience in the Lloyd’s/London Market insurance sector is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and drive exec-level governance and reporting cadence
- Produce polished, board-ready materials at short notice
- Synthesise inputs across multiple workstreams into a clear delivery narrative
- Bring structure, consistency and control across the integration
- Support senior stakeholders in driving accountability and delivery
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on PMO / reporting experience in complex programmes
- Comfortable operating at CEO / ExCo level
- Able to produce high-quality outputs quickly and independently
- Confident holding the line on delivery while building relationships
- Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Direct Lloyd’s / London Market insurance experience (essential)
- Exposure to integration / IMO environments (post-Day 1 preferred)
- Experience working across multiple business functions (finance, tech, ops, etc.)

Context
A Lloyd’s / London Market insurance business has recently completed a strategic acquisition and delivered Day 1. The Integration Management Office (IMO) is now established, and the focus has shifted to maintaining control, visibility and pace across the integration as external consulting support rolls off.
The Role
This is a hands-on PMO role within the IMO, working directly with senior stakeholders across the business. The focus is on owning governance, producing high-quality reporting, and ensuring delivery remains structured across multiple workstreams. This is not a passive or coordination-focused PMO role.
