Summary: The PMO role involves supporting the Programme Manager and the Compliance Transformation team in delivering strategic compliance initiatives across 19 countries within the financial services sector. The position requires a highly organized individual with extensive experience in project support, particularly in compliance and regulatory change. The role is based in London with a hybrid working arrangement, requiring two to three days per week in the office. The successful candidate will contribute to enhancing compliance capabilities while managing essential programme documentation and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update essential programme governance documentation, including terms of reference and action logs.
  • Coordinate and compile high-quality board and steering committee packs, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Own and maintain the RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) to ensure continuous monitoring and escalation of important items.
  • Support the development of programme plans, timelines, and milestone tracking.
  • Produce regular status reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders, showcasing achievements, risks, and upcoming activities.
  • Collaborate with workstream leads, project managers, and business SMEs to gather inputs and align programme artefacts.
  • Review and ensure all programme documentation meets PMO standards.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and templates.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience in a programme or project support role within financial services, preferably in Compliance, Risk, or Regulatory Change.
  • Strong understanding of programme governance, planning, and reporting processes.
  • Proven experience in preparing board-level documentation and managing RAID logs.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and familiarity with MS Project.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative mindset to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance transformation programmes is a plus.
