Summary: The PMO Analyst role focuses on supporting IT infrastructure projects within the banking sector, requiring strong experience in project management and stakeholder engagement. The position involves planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of projects, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. The analyst will collaborate with various teams to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery. This role is integral to the Project Management Office, contributing to process improvements and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support in the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT infrastructure projects for banking clients.
- Assist in the preparation of project charters, schedules, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Provide regular status reports to stakeholders, including senior management.
- Collect, analyze, and report on project performance data.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation such as project plans, risk logs, and issue trackers.
- Facilitate communication between project teams, technical experts, and business units to ensure alignment on goals and expectations.
- Provide administrative support to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Ensure that all IT infrastructure projects comply with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Assist in the identification and assessment of risks across IT infrastructure projects, and work with project managers to define mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes and tools, helping to streamline project management workflows and increase overall efficiency.
Key Skills:
- Experience as a PMO Analyst, with a focus on IT infrastructure in a banking or financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure concepts (networking, servers, storage, cloud technologies, data centers) and how they apply to banking operations.
- Proficiency with project management tools like JIRA, MS Project, Confluence, or similar.
- Familiarity with project tracking systems for reporting and documentation purposes.
- Proven ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders, including technical teams, business units, and senior leadership.
- Experience with agile project management methodologies is an advantage.
- A proactive approach, detail-oriented mindset, and strong organizational skills are essential.
