Summary: The PMO Lead will oversee the establishment and management of a Project Management Office for a significant transformation programme at Heathrow Airport, focusing on modernizing technology systems. This role involves coordinating complex initiatives, managing governance, and ensuring effective communication with senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate scoping, mobilisation, and planning of complex initiatives, including estimating costs, resources, and timelines.
- Manage impact assessments and change requests across scope, budget, and schedule.
- Drive programme governance by overseeing planning cycles, reporting cadence, and decision-making forums.
- Track and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and resource allocation across the programme.
- Ensure accurate forecasting and support the prioritisation of work based on business value and readiness.
- Produce reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
- Promote continuous improvement by evolving PMO processes in line with industry best practice.
Key Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing clear reports and stakeholder presentations.
- Proven track record of delivering PMO activities within large-scale programmes, ideally in IT or technology transformation.
- Ability to influence and build collaborative relationships across teams and stakeholders.
- Skilled in managing expectations and communicating effectively at all organisational levels.
