Summary: Our client, a prominent organization in the energy and renewables sector, is looking for a Project Management Consultant – Level I to support a Senior Project Manager in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. This onsite role involves managing project schedules, documentation, and stakeholder coordination for Wind, Solar, and Battery Storage projects. The position requires up to 25% travel to project sites and a technical background in mechanical or electrical systems is advantageous but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in project design meetings and contribute improvement recommendations where appropriate
  • Identify potential risks and technical challenges, and develop mitigation solutions
  • Plan and manage team goals, project schedules, and evolving project information
  • Coordinate all team members across active projects to maintain workflow and progress
  • Manage project documentation, ensuring all materials are current, accurately filed, and stored
  • Prepare and review project correspondence including proposals, memos, meeting minutes, and emails
  • Engage with clients to define project requirements, scope, and objectives
  • Monitor project expenditure and implement cost-saving measures to support budget adherence

Key Skills:

  • Prior experience in project coordination or project management, preferably within construction or renewables
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, stakeholder relationships, and cross-functional teams
  • Experience with documentation management and project management tools
  • Willingness and ability to travel to project sites (up to 25%)

The successful candidate will support a Senior Project Manager across a portfolio of Wind, Solar, and Battery Storage projects, with responsibility for scheduling, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and budget tracking. A technical background in mechanical or electrical systems is advantageous but not essential. Up to 25% travel to project sites will be required.
