Summary: This Project Information Engineer role is crucial for ensuring the delivery of accurate and compliant project information within large EPC projects in the Oil & Gas sector. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the review of project information management requirements and help prepare information and data specifications for project setup.
  • Coordinate with relevant specialists to ensure project databases and tools are set up in line with project requirements.
  • Advise engineering, supply chain, vendor, supplier, completion and quality teams on project data requirements and compliance expectations.
  • Monitor data consistency, compliance and completeness through report interpretation and ongoing data review.
  • Track and report data progress status on a regular basis throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Liaise with project functions and the client to help maintain the quality of delivered project data.
  • Manage the handover of completed project information and documentation in line with agreed procedures.
  • Assist with project close-out reporting and support continuous improvement of information management standards and methodology.

Key Skills:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Management or Data Management.
  • Some understanding of data, information or document management systems and tools.
  • Knowledge of, and work experience in, system engineering related scope within large Oil & Gas EPC projects.
  • Exposure to, or work experience with, system engineering design applications and tools.

Position Overview

This Project Information Engineer opportunity plays an important role in helping project teams deliver accurate, complete and compliant project information and sits within large and complex EPC projects in the Oil & Gas sector. You will support information management activities across engineering, supply chain, vendors and suppliers, completion and quality functions, while reporting into the Project Information Manager.
