Summary: The Project Engineering Manager role in Stockholm, Sweden, involves leading and coordinating engineering activities for complex railway projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of design, implementation, testing, and commissioning to meet customer requirements and project timelines.
- Manage project execution, control technical decisions, and oversee compliance with project requirements.
- Establish and maintain interfaces with Engineering departments and other relevant functions (Project Management, Procurement, Operations, Sales, Bids, etc.).
- Optimize project engineering processes by considering business requirements, customer needs, technical innovations, and market trends.
- Monitor, control, and report monthly on all product-related aspects of the project, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements.
Key Skills:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Experience relevant to the role.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage complex projects.
- Understanding of Software and Hardware interconnections.
- Strong planning and system knowledge in railway signalling (Interlocking, ATP, Metros, CBTC, and/or ERTMS technologies is a plus).
