Summary: The Project Engineering Manager will lead the CAPEX project program at a leading pharmaceutical organization in West Yorkshire. This role requires a degree-qualified engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering or project management, responsible for delivering technical projects that enhance safety, quality, and efficiency. The position emphasizes leadership in project delivery and the adoption of new technologies to support continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing multiple projects and possess relevant project management qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the CAPEX project program on site.
- Serve as the key contact for the delivery of technical projects supporting site enhancements.
- Ensure maximum benefit from new and emerging technologies in the manufacturing facility.
- Support projects with appropriate documentation and training for full production capability.
- Enhance safety, quality, and efficiency of the facility through project execution.
- Drive Good Manufacturing Practice through documented equipment qualification activities (IQ, OQ, PQ).
Key Skills:
- Degree qualified engineer with a background in mechanical engineering or projects.
- Experience in leadership roles across various projects, programmes, or portfolios.
- Project Management qualification (APM PMQ or equivalent).
- Strong HSE knowledge (NEBOSH).
- Proven experience in leading multiple projects independently.
