Project Engineer - Mechanical

Summary: The Project Engineer - Mechanical role is based in Bristol and requires a hybrid working arrangement with two days per week in the office. The position demands proven experience in a disciplined engineering role within industrial plant environments, particularly in nuclear or conventional project engineering. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of engineering standards and relevant safety and quality management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proven experience in a disciplined engineering role (Mechanical, Electrical, C&I, or Civil) within industrial plant environments
• Experience in nuclear and/or conventional project engineering
• Strong understanding of engineering standards (company and/or national)
• Working knowledge of Safety Rules, Risk assessment methodologies, Site Licence requirements, Quality Management Systems, and CDM Designer role
• Experience in Contract management and Project delivery
• HNC / Degree or equivalent (NQF Level 5/6) in an Engineering discipline
